Conventions
More than anything else, the Red Lion Hotel Vancouver is a convention hotel. It’s our bread and butter, what we do best. And, we’re proud to say, we do it better than most. The majority of planners who book a convention at our hotel make our venue a part of their regular rotation, sometimes every year.
There are many assets we bring to convention business that our clients love. First, our team has lots of experience. There may not be another hotel in the Northwest with the average length of service from employees that we enjoy. We’re also known for excellent food. Our meeting space is extremely flexible, with a Ballroom that can me modified to as many as seven breakouts. Of course, we overlook the Columbia River, so let’s not overlook that.
Add great Audio/Visual services from PSAV, free parking, free airport shuttle, free wi-fi, and very comfortable guest rooms, and we have what it takes to make your convention a success.
We begin the planning process with an assesment of your needs, our capabilities, and available dates. After that, we develop a proposal containing a commitment of proposed room rates, and food & beverage minumums, if applicable. If possible, we like to offer a tour of the property, so you can see specifically how we can best use our flexible space. If things look good, we hold the space for you, and draw up a contract.
