About Us
The Quay Restaurant and Bar is enjoying its 52nd year of being one of the most popular dining destinations in Vancouver. Opened by local restaurateur George Goodrich in 1960, it immediately became one of Vancouver’s most popular spots for fine dining, special occasions and business lunches. Today, with a wonderful Sunday brunch, live music in the Quay Bar on Friday and Saturday nights, and a seven-day-a week Happy Hour, there are many reasons it remains one of Vancouver’s most popular spots.
In 1963, The Red Lion Inn at the Quay was constructed as the hotel adjacent to the restaurant. Over time, it’s become a very popular spot for conventions, groups, leisure travel and business accommodations. Today, the Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay is one of the most popular hotels in the Red Lion family.
Our group sales, catering and banquet teams are renowned among Northwest meeting planners. Leaving no detail to chance, they earn rave reviews and repeat business from one satisfied planner after another.
The hotel, restaurant and bar enjoy the best view of the Columbia River in Vancouver. This property isn’t built next to the river, it’s built over the river. The view is magnificent.
But, the view is just one reason people keep coming back. The delicious food, the wonderful friendly service, and the sparkling clean guest rooms make this one of the favorite spots of people who visit Vancouver U.S.A.
